Taiwan Hajj Delegation Arrived in Mecca, Successfully Completed Umrah
On May 23, the Taiwan Hajj delegation safely arrived Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where Ambassador Cheng Chi-Ping, the Representative of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to Saudi Arabia, personally welcomed the group, demonstrating strong support for Taiwan’s Muslim community.
The delegation then traveled to the holy city of Madinah, where they embarked on a meaningful journey: they offered prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque, engaged warmly with local Muslims, visited the Prophet’s Life Museum and several historical sites, including Quba Mosque, Martyrs’ Mosque, and Masjid al-Qiblatayn, gaining a deeper understanding of Islamic history and faith.
On May 28, the delegation departed for Mecca, where they successfully completed Umrah as preparation for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage. On May 30, they participated in the Friday congregational prayer at Masjid al-Haram, joining Muslims from around the world to welcome the approaching Hajj.
Looking forward to the presence of Taiwanese Muslims shining brightly during the Hajj season, showcasing the strength of their faith!
