Taiwan government’s active promotion of the tourism industry and efforts to attract Muslim travelers

In response to Taiwan government’s active promotion of the tourism industry and efforts to attract Muslim travelers from around the world to visit Taiwan, we recognize the challenges Muslims may face in non-Islamic countries regarding daily life and religious practices. To address this, we have developed the "Halal TW" mobile application (Link: https://apps.apple.com/tw/app/halal-tw/id1567002149), offering comprehensive guidance for Muslims living, traveling, working, or studying in Taiwan.

The main features of this application are as follows:

(1) Halal-certified restaurant search: A comprehensive directory of dining establishments across Taiwan that have received halal certification, ensuring food complies with Islamic dietary laws.

(2) Muslim-friendly accommodation recommendations: Hotels equipped with prayer facilities are categorized according to international standards to help travelers plan their trips more conveniently.

(3) Daily life service guidance: Includes essential information such as prayer venues, medical assistance, and other resources for Muslims in Taiwan.
