The Taipei Business Association in Singapore (TBA SG) held its 14th General Assembly on the afternoon of 17 January 2013 to elect a new President and 25 council members.
Representative Hsieh was invited by TBA SG to officiate the inauguration ceremony for the new President and council members. In his speech address, Mr Hsieh commended TBA SG for her active role in organizing numerous events in Singapore which garnered widespread praises from the community, particularly at last year’s Mid Autumn Lantern Festival event where proceeds from the sales of sky lanterns were donated to the Singapore President’s Challenge 2013. Separately, with the completion of ASTEP signing between Singapore and Taiwan, Representative Hsieh expressed hope that TBA SG would use such an opportunity as a springboard to strengthen business and trade exchanges between both countries.
