Deputy Representative Steven Tai Attends Singapore Kim Mui Hoey Kuan’s 149th anniversary cum the birthday of the Chen Yuan En Zhu Gong of the Tang Dynasty

On behalf of Representative Francis Kuo-Hsin Liang, Deputy Representative Steven Tai attended the Singapore Kim Mui Hoey Kuan’s celebration on 8 March 2019 to commemorate its 149th anniversary cum the birthday of the Chen Yuan En Zhu Gong of the Tang Dynasty.    Also present at the celebration were clan delegates from the Singapore Amoy Association, the Johor Kim Tong Har Association, and the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations, as well as over ten officials from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore.

Deputy Representative Tai conveyed his best wishes to Kim Mui Hoey Kuan and joined the office bearers of the Association in proposing a toast to all at the event.

Mr. Chua Kee Seng,  President of the Singapore Kim Mui Hoey Kuan, outlined the important highlights over the past year, and hoped to have everyone’s continued support for the association’s upcoming Qingming Festival, an event  which would be showcasing practices and customs in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
