Department of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology
Undergraduate Program
Program Duration 4 years
Requirements
Minimum requirements in addition to the general qualifications aforementioned:
1. A senior high school diploma acquired from an overseas senior high
school or a foreign or bilingual school in Taiwan shall be recognized by
MOE and verified by R.O.C. representative office.
2. Applicants must have taken the courses in Biology and Chemistry.
3. Good standing in academic achievement.
4. An English proficiency test score equivalent to one of the followings or above for those whose native language is not English:
TOEFL ITP 500, CBT 173, iBT 61, IELTS 4.5 or TOEIC 600.

Evaluation for Admission
1.Transcript evaluation in the following courses: Biology and Chemistry.
2.All documents submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs will be assessed by the Committee of Dep. of Medical Laboratory Science and Biotechnology for the initial screening. Accepted applicants will be notified individually after the evaluation is completed.
Note
1. For Taiwan ICDF scholarship applicants should submit medical report(including an HIV test) within the previous within 3 months.
2. For Taiwan ICDF scholarship applicants, financial statement is not required. However, applicant who is admitted to the program cannot be transferred to other bachelor program.
