On 10th August 2017, Ambassador Thomas J.C. Chen welcomed a 130-membered group led by Mrs. Emmah Myeni, Deputy Headmaster of Eqinisweni Primary School, on a field trip to the embassy. Amb. Chen gave them a briefing on the bilateral cooperation of agriculture, infrastructure and education, especially in the area of yearly scholarship programs offered by Taiwan. Amb. Chen also emphasized the importance of education with regard to the national development and encouraged learners to study hard for great academic performances.
