The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is delighted to announce the availability of the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2023. The International Cooperation and Development Fund in Taiwan (Taiwan ICDF), in cooperation with 20 partner universities of Taiwan which cover 33 programs -- 8 bachelor, 22 master’s and 3 PhD degrees, all conducted in English, is providing financial support for Eswatini students to pursue tertiary studies in Taiwan in 2023.
Applications:
1. Applicants have to apply for Taiwan ICDF scholarship and university admissions separately.
2. Requirements for scholarship application: A completed application form (completed online, printed out and signed), a photocopy of the applicant’s passport or proof of nationality, a photocopy of the applicant’s highest-level diploma and academic transcript (authenticated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Embassy), two letters of reference.
3. Requirements for university admissions: Please refer to each university’s website for details.
Application period:
1.For scholarship: January 1 – March 15, 2023 (Application documents have to be sent to the Embassy before 16:00 March 15, 2023)
2.For university admissions: Application documents should be sent directly to the universities by applicants themselves before the deadline.
Duration of Scholarship:
Four years for undergraduate programs; two years for Master’s programs; four years for PhD programs.
Scholarship benefits:
Economy class return airfare, housing, tuition, textbook costs and a monthly allowance. See Taiwan ICDF website for details.
