On 6th March, the Embassy worked with Taiwan Technical Mission and selected one of the virtual meetings called “social media movements to change Asian girls’ future” from NGO CSW 67 Forum. Local women groups and relevant NGOs were invited for participation and discussion.
On 8th March, the Embassy and Taiwan Technical Mission celebrated International Women’s Day, with inspirational speeches, short drama and educational lectures. Nearly 200 people attended the event. Minister Tsuei, Ching-Lin, together with high ranking officials from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation were all present to promote gender equality through their participation.
