On May 16, Ambassador Jeremy Liang, on behalf of Taiwan’s government, joined Eswatini Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla to hand over 2,000 metric tons of rice donated by World Vision Taiwan.
This donation is a true team effort — supported by the governments of Taiwan and Eswatini, and delivered with help from World Vision. The rice will be combined with beans and cooking oil purchased by Eswatini’s National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) to create food parcels for orphans and vulnerable families across 59 traditional constituencies.
Taiwan is proud to stand with Eswatini in strengthening food security and building resilience to climate change.
