On August 9, the Taiwan Embassy and Medical Team provided free medical care for 558 residents in Mayiwane. This time, the outreach was upgraded with on-site cervical and breast cancer screening, including instant specimens’ analysis — eliminating the need for patients to travel again or wait weeks for results, enabling early detection and timely treatment.
The event also featured health education and vegetarian diet workshops to promote health knowledge and balanced nutrition. Each household received a bag of rice from Taiwan, symbolizing Taiwan’s boundless love and care.
