The Ministry of Education (MOE), ROC(Taiwan), has officially announced the Application Guidelines for Overseas Taiwanese Students for the 2026 Academic Year, covering admission to junior high schools, senior high schools, and five-year junior colleges (5-year programs).

III. Programs Available
- Junior High Schools
- Senior High Schools (including general senior high schools, vocational high schools, and specialized overseas student programs)
- Five-Year Junior Colleges (5-Year Programs), including industry–academia cooperative programs
- Eligibility (Summary)
- Ethnic Taiwanese students who were born overseas and have continuously resided abroad, or
- Have continuously resided overseas for at least six years prior to the application deadline
- Applicants to five-year junior colleges must hold a secondary school diploma or proof of current enrollment
- Application Method
Applicants shall submit their applications through ROC (Taiwan) overseas missions or OCAC-designated recommending organizations in their country of residence, in accordance with the relevant guidelines.

- Application form and preference form
- Permanent or long-term residence permit
- Academic certificates and transcripts from the most recent three academic years, verified by ROC overseas missions or designated recommending organizations
- Proof of language proficiency
- Consent form from a legal guardian residing in Taiwan
- Relevant identification documents
