#FindingTAIWAN International Short Film Contest kicks off
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Minister Lin Chia-lung presided over the launch of the #FindingTAIWAN International Short Film Contest on April 9th, inviting people around the world to capture the Taiwan image with short videos on what Taiwan means to them and how Taiwan plays a role in their daily lives. The prize pool for the contest totals NT$1 million, with a grand prize of NT$200,000.
Each person has their own unique view of Taiwan. It could be your favorite food, place, or any little piece of Taiwan. Whether it conjures up a bustling street scene in Taiwan or images of Taiwan in Thailand or any part of the world, welcome to film a 1-minute video telling your story of "Finding Taiwan" for a chance to win up to NT$200,000!
At the launch of the competition, MOFA invited the Korean Influencers Couple from Korea (@pony.min.9465 (FB) @ponie_min (IG)) (previous winners of the Trending Taiwan Short Film Competition) and 2025 Asia Design Prize Judge’s Choice awardee Lin Pang-soong to showcase example videos for the competition!
