On 16 May, the TRO hosted a lunch talk titled ‘Britain and the Crisis of Globalisation: Implications for Taiwan and Beyond.’ Participating guest speakers were Christopher Hughes, a professor of International Relations at the LSE, Kerry Brown, a professor of Chinese Politics at King’s College London, and Steve Tsang, a professor of Chinese studies at SOAS, University of London. Other attendees included around 50 guests from across the London diplomatic corps, academia, think tanks, and the media.
