Three Taiwanese authors have been invited to participate for the first time in the 25th annual Edinburgh International Book Festival, the largest and most respected literary event in the world, taking place from 11-27 August. Participants will include award-winning Young Adult novelist Lin Man-Chiu, critically-acclaimed journalist and writer Hsiao-Hung Pai and Man Booker International Prize long-listed author Wu Ming-Yi, who will hold respective ‘meet the author’ events to discuss the inspiration behind their works followed by exclusive book signing sessions.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture will be an Official Programme Partner for the festival. Author Wu Ming-yi will go on to hold another event in London later this August.
