The Sigur Center for Asian Studies at the George Washington University presents “Taiwan Lecture: Archiving Taiwanese Literature in Translation” by Dr. Jonathan Stalling on Monday afternoon at 12:45 pm, March 26, 2018
In this lecture, Dr. Jonathan Stalling’s topics for discussion include: the literary archive as it relates to Sinophone literature, Taiwan literature in translation, archival efforts in Taiwan, the Chinese Literature translation Archive at the University of Oklahoma, and circulation of Sinophone literature outside the Sinosphere.
Dr. Jonathan Stalling is Professor of English specializing in East-West Poetics at the University of Oklahoma, where he is a founding editor of Chinese Literature Today magazine and book series and the Curator of the Chinese Literature Translation Archive at the University of Oklahoma Library.
Dr. Stalling’s latest co-editing book “Contemporary Taiwanese Women Writers: An Anthology” was published by Cambria Press in March 2018.
