Old Greenbelt Theatre Presents “Classic Taiwanese Film Series” (Sept. 13~October 25, 2018)

Old Greenbelt Theatre presents “Classic Taiwanese Film Series” from September 13 to October 25, 2018 with four well-known Taiwanese film directors’ works:

“Eat Drink Man Woman” by Ang Lee,

“Taipei Story” by Edward Yang,

“The Assassin” by Hou Hsiao-hsien and

“Goodbye, Dragon Inn” by Tsai Ming-liang.

Old Greenbelt Theatre was built in 1938 in Prince George’s County’s Greenbelt, Maryland. Old Greenbelt Theatre is also the only non-profit cinema in Prince George’s County which constantly screens American and other country’s classic films.

“Classic Taiwanese Film Series” is organized by Old Greenbelt Theatre, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and Taiwan Academy of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the U.S. Tickets are free to the public.
