Director General Vincent Liu attended Atlanta Regional Commission’s 2018 State of the Region Breakfast

Director General Vincent Liu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta, along with TECO Deputy Director Jerry Chang, attended the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) 2018 State of the Region Breakfast on November 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
More than 1,400 leaders from across metro Atlanta convened at the event. Special guests included: Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Georgia Senator Brandon Beach, Georgia State Representatives Kevin Tanner and Tom Taylor, Cobb County Chairman Mike Boyce, Gwinnett County Chairwoman Charlotte Nash, Fulton County Commissioner Liz Hausmann, Atlanta City Councilmember Andre Dickens, members of the consular corps Atlanta, and business leaders.
The Atlanta Regional Commission presented Governor Nathan Deal with the 2018 Harry West Visionary Leadership Award in recognition of his efforts over the last eight years to improve the business environment and quality of life across the state of Georgia.
2019 marks the 40th anniversary of Atlanta and Taipei Sister Cityhood. DG Liu invited government and business leaders to join year-round celebrations held by TECO and Atlanta Taiwanese communities.
