The South East Chinese Golf Association (SECGA) hosted a golf tournament on October 6 at Bears Best Golf Course to celebrate 108th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Director General Vincent Liu of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Atlanta, TECO officers Daniel Hung, Tony Tai, and Jerry Chang were invited to join the tournament.
In additional to the local Taiwanese community, SECGA also invited US friends and business leaders of Japan, Korea, and Vietnam communities to form teams. More than 80 people joined the game.
DG Liu presented “Green Jackets” and a pin of Taiwan to both champions of men’s and women’s groups. The presentation of Atlanta National Day Cup Golf Tournament is now a new tradition.
