This month, the warm power and love of Taiwan was given out in abundance! The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Atlanta and the Atlanta Taiwanese Association of America (ATAA) sent out love to the Chamblee Police Department on June 9 and the Atlanta City Police Department on June 10. On June 11, the two offices worked together again to send Taiwan’s warmth and love to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
On behalf the Republic of China (Taiwan), TECO Atlanta Acting General Director Daniel Hung donated 1,500 surgical masks to the polices, and the ATAA donated dozens of Taiwanese bento boxes to the police station as a gesture of gratitude and encouragement to the police officers who have been working so hard to protect everyone's lives during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the demonstrations. We hope that they will not forget to protect themselves, and pay attention to their own health, while protecting everyone else!
Taiwan’s beauty lies in its people. Her foods are the most delicious and the face masks she produces are the safest. Everyone, please do your utmost in sending love and warmth to our police officers!
