R.O.C. (Taiwan) government continues campaign for UN participation, urging international community to recognize aspirations of Taiwan’s 23.5 million people

Ahead of the 75th United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 29, Taiwan and our allies are campaigning for Taiwan’s participations in the UN system. Here are Taiwan’s three main appeals:
1. End the exclusion of Taiwan’s 23.5 million people from the UN system
2. Rectify the discriminatory policy against Taiwanese passport holders and journalists
3. Ensure that Taiwan can participate equally in and make contributions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs)
Thanks to the government, civil society, and our international friends, our bid continues to gain momentum!
