TECO-ATL celebrated the 45th anniversary of the legislation at the Alabama State Assembly

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta celebrated the 45th anniversary of the legislation at the Alabama State Assembly on April 10, the official legislation day of the Taiwan Relations Act. About a hundred people attended, including the House speaker, four co-chairmen of the Taiwan Connection, and about 40 senators and representatives. Taiwanese beer and Kavalan Whisky were also prepared on-site. All the distinguished guests who tasted it praised it!
In addition, Director-General Elliot Wang was invited to give a speech to the Alabama House of Representatives the next day and emphasized in his speech that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the legislation of the Taiwan Relations Act and that Taiwan and the United States will establish closer ties in the fields of education, economy, trade, culture, and security. During this trip, Director-General Wang paid special visits to many political figures and exchanged extensive views on bilateral relations.
