Hsu, Director Wellington Shih, and Director Hung Wei Ou of the Culture Center were honored to receive Mr. Chen at TECO-Boston on August 2 where he shared how he came up with the idea of traveling the world on bike and told some very interesting experiences. Some stories and happenings during his tour are reminiscent of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”. It will take 90 days for Mr. Chen to complete the tour to visit such cities as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York, and Boston as he makes his way across the United States. Mr. Chen, now nearly 70, is a model for all and serves as an inspiration of courage and perseverance.
