A new form of hackathon has been created by the European Union (Germany, Sweden, Estonia, India, etc.) to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The hackathon has attracted participants world-wide to team up online and suggest solutions to problems caused by the virus.
The theme of #Cohack is “Stay together, cohack can help” and poses 6 different cohack themes as follows:
Managing community resources.
Making a smooth transition to the new post-pandemic world.
Protecting vulnerable groups.
Formulating strategic policy to predict future pandemic outbreaks.
Supporting front-line staff and essential workers.
