The Presidential Hackathon 2020: International Track, hosted by the Executive Yuan, Republic of China (Taiwan), is open for online applications. The deadline has been extended to June 12, 2020.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety of all participants, partners, stakeholders, and staff, all events (might exclude Award Ceremony) in the Presidential Hackathon International Track will be conducted virtually online. The timeline for the Hackathon now scheduled as follows:
- Open for application until June 12.
- Finalists will still be announced on June 30.
- Finalist Events
- The finalists will be invited to participate in an exclusive set of digital events from July 13 to 24, including keynote talks, workshops, one-on-one consultation sessions, and exchange opportunities.
- Finalists will submit their final pitch documentation (such as slides, videos, live demos, action plans) after the digital events.
- Award Ceremony
- The Award Ceremony remains scheduled as is on September 15. Should the winning teams be unable to participate in the ceremony, it will be possible to demonstrate their winning projects to a global audience digitally.
