Students from the University of Rhode Island (URI) Language Flagship Program showcased their experience of Mandarin-learning trip to Taiwan yesterday. Despite the pouring rain, approximately 60 students participated. Director-General Charles Liao, accompanied by Education Division Director Cynthia Huang, also joined the event.
Students highly admired and recommended Taiwan's excellent Mandarin learning environment, rich resources, friendly people, and cultural diversity. They shared their exciting learning experiences through attractive and colorful posters to encourage other students to consider embarking on the same trip to Taiwan.
URI's Language Flagship Program has been dedicated to nurturing outstanding students over the years. TECO-Boston has consistently provided information and visa assistance to these students, earning praise from the university's administrators, teachers, and students alike.
