General Information for notarization/verification
- Service areas: Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Guam is only authorized to service documentations issued within our service areas, including Guam , Commowealth of Northern Mariana Islands , and Federated States of Micronesia
- Documents can be notarized or verified through this office: Power of Attorney, Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Driving License, Academic Degree, Commercial Document, Marriage License, Devorce Decree
- Please prepare an extra copy for the purpose of filing
- Notarization Stamps will affixed on the original document. If you want them intact, please advise us and have an extra copy ready
- Processing fee for English document is $15. Should a Chinese translation is needed, please have it done by oneself or a translator. This office does not offer traslation service. The processing fee to legalize a Chinese traslation is $15, however, the Chinese version must come with the English one. The processing fee is $30 for one set of English documen and the Chinese version. Please pay by cash, money order, or cashier check, payable to TECO in Guam. Personal checks are not accepted.
- Processing time:1~2 business days in person; 2~3 business days by mail
- If the application is done by mail, please have a postage-paid return envelope ready. This office wil not be held liable for lost or any delay by mail
- Except for official documents, all documents need to be notarized by a notary public. Please attach a copy of certificate of the notary public

- Present the ID (passport or driver license) to this office.
- documents to be legalized and an extra copy for filing.

- a copy of certificate of the notary public and then certified by the appropriate government agencies
- postage-paid return envelope (if needed)
