The “Guam & Taiwan Art Drawing Contest” Award Ceremony was held by TECO at the Micronesia Mall, Guam’s largest shopping center, on Apr. 10 morning, 2021. This great event was attended by dozens of Guam officials, members of the Consular Corps and Taiwanese Community representatives, including Lt. Governor of Guam Hon. Joshua Tenorio, Speaker of the Guam Legislature Hon. Therese Terlaje, GVB President Carl Gutierrez, GVB Board Chairman Milton Morinaga, GVB Director of Global Marketing Nadine Leon Guerrero, GEDA Board Chairman David John, GEDA Deputy Administrator Joann Camacho, GEDA Business & Economic Development Manager Ed Camacho, President of Chamorro Affairs Department of Guam Melvin Won Pat-Borja, GIFF Program Director Kel Muña, GCC President Catherine Castro, Consul General of the Republic of Palau on Guam Adelina “Enna” K. Jose, Italy Honorary Consul Roberto Fracassini, OCAC Commissioner for Guam Lily Yu, etc. The ceremony started with a Guam traditional blessing ritual, followed by the remarks given by TECO Director General Paul Chen, Lt. Governor Hon. Joshua Tenorio and Speaker Hon. Therese Terlaje. Later, all the winners of the contest, accompanied by their parents and relatives, were invited to go on stage in sequence to receive their prizes from these three distinguished guests. The event ended successfully in a lively atmosphere. These 15 winners’ art works will be exhibited in public at the Micronesia Mall for one week.
