On September 15, 2026, Director General Hsiao, joined by Education Division Director Rebecca Lan, visited Trinity University and delivered a keynote address titled "Taiwan’s Transformations: The Evolution of a Democratic Tech-Island in the Heart of Asia."
Beyond highlighting Taiwan’s role as a global semiconductor powerhouse, DG Hsiao emphasized that humanistic values and democratic freedom are the true foundations of Taiwan's innovation—a perspective that resonates deeply with Trinity University’s distinguished liberal arts tradition.
