Over 1,000 Taiwanese expats came together on September 13, with strong backing from a local Taiwanese tech company. The limited-edition tickets, which included exclusive jerseys and hats, sold out in just 24 hours—proof that demand was no joke!
A big thank you to the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Phoenix and sponsors like Delta Air Lines and Kuai Kuai Co. (yes, the beloved Taiwanese childhood snack! ) for making this event possible. Even Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego officially declared September 12-17 as Taiwan Heritage Celebration Days.
The Tourism Division and the Culture Center of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles also showed their support, offering small Year of the Dragon lanterns, tourist maps, national flags, and other promotional materials.
Fans were buzzing with excitement, many saying they can’t wait to visit Taiwan!
