2015 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (ORSM) was held at Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City from August 5 to 8, 2015. The Taiwan Pavilion organized by Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) hit record high scale with a total of 62 exhibitors using 83 stands. The exhibiting areas spread across 3 meeting rooms at MR 251, MR253 and MR355 which made Taiwan the biggest exhibiting country at ORSM. A strong high-tech and innovative image of Taiwan pavilion would be successfully built at the exhibition and generated more business opportunities.
Taiwan Pavilion brought together middle and down streams manufacturers to showcase newest products and manufacturing capabilities of the full value chain. Major exhibitors included Far Eastern New Century Corp., Li Peng Enterprise Co. Ltd., Nan Ya Plastics Corp., Shinkong Textile Co. Ltd., Fulltide Enterprise, Sheico Group, Hui Liang Industrial Co., Ltd., U-Long High Tech Textile Co., Ltd., Tai Yuen Textile Co., Ltd., Tai Erh Enterprise, etc. Taiwan Garment Industry Association made their first presence by recruiting 4 members including Texray, King’s Metal Fiber, QMI and Texma to demonstrate their state-of-the-art system and services which enabled them to be strategic partners of global brands.
Mr. Ming-Shy Chen, Deputy Director General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in L.A. and Ms. Andrea Chou, Specialist of Economic Division of TECO in L.A. visited Taiwan Pavilion on August 5 and exchanged views with participated companies from Taiwan for the development of this industry. Most companies expressed that attending the show had a great effect, and they also appreciated for the sponsorship from the Bureau of Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
