The Role and Function of the Science and Technology Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles
As a contact point or window which is used to promote the exchange and cooperation of science and technology between Taiwan and the U.S.A. in the area of southern California, Arizona State, New Mexico State and Hawaii State.
Provide support and service to Taiwanese/Chinese American societies and associations in the activities of promoting connection and development of science and technology.
Facilitate information exchange on the new development of science and technology and activities of Taiwanese/Chinese American who are involved in science and technology.
Promote investment and technology transfer in high-tech between Taiwan and the U.S.A.
Offer help for the recruitment and cultivation of people requested by the government of Taiwan and universities, research institutes, and business firms in Taiwan.
