On February 22, Director General Chu hosted a banquet for the delegation of Tainan City Council. National Policy Advisor to the President, Alan Thian, Congresswoman Judy Chu, Mayor of West Covina, Tony Wu, Council Member of San Marino, Steven Huang, Council Member of Yorba Linda, Peggy Huang, Council Member of San Gabriel, Chin-Ho Liao, and Council Member of Torrance, George Chen, also joined the event.
Congresswoman Chu granted certificates to Speaker of Tainan City Council, Hsin-Liang Kuo, Legislator Ting-Fei Chen, and President of Taiwanese American Association of Los Angeles East San Gabriel Valley, Jolie Chen, to recognize their efforts in strengthening the relationship between Taiwan and the US.
