On the morning of May 2, Director-General Chou, along with Chief of the Office, Frank You, met with Dovydas Špokauskas, Consul General of Lithuania in New York, and Deputy Consul General Giedrius Galkauskas.
Florida is one of the 12 states under the jurisdiction of the Lithuanian Consulate in New York, and its political and economic significance is growing rapidly. Consul General Špokauskas took the opportunity to discuss topics such as Florida’s business environment and the overseas Taiwanese community with Director-General Chou . Špokauskas is a seasoned diplomat, having served as a diplomatic advisor to the President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, as well as Lithuania's Chargé d'affaires to the United States .
