Taiwan’s Beef Delegation Makes Its First Historic Visit to Florida — A True Farm-to-Table Journey Begins!
This milestone visit offered the delegation a firsthand look at Florida’s beef industry — from healthy, pasture-raised cattle to high-quality beef served at the table ??️. It also marked a new step forward in strengthening agricultural and economic ties between Taiwan and the United States.
On September 19, a joint statement was made at the University of Florida’s Straughn IFAS Extension Professional Development Center by the Florida Cattlemen’s Association President Rick Moyer, alongside Taiwan’s delegation — witnessed by a distinguished group of leaders including Florida Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins, Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly, U.S. Congresswoman Kat Cammack, UF/IFAS Senior Vice President Dr. J. Scott Angle, Yolanda Roundtree, Bureau Chief of Seafood and Agriculture Marketing, FDACS, as well as representatives from the Greater Orlando Taiwanese Association and many friends from the Taiwanese-American community.
Together, we look forward to deepening collaboration and creating a win-win future through the shared vision of “From Farm to Table”.
