Honoring Long-Standing Support for Taiwan: DG Chou at OPKO Health

Director General Charles Chou visited OPKO Health Chairman Dr. Phillip Frost and Vice Chairman & Chief R&D Officer Dr. Jane H. Hsiao on the afternoon of February 4, extending Lunar New Year greetings and expressing appreciation for their long-standing support for Taiwan and the Office.
Dr. Frost is a well-known Florida philanthropist who has made significant contributions to education and culture, including major donations to the University of Miami and Florida International University, as well as the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science.
Dr. Hsiao, a former Overseas Community Affairs Commissioner of Taiwan, has long been committed to public service and philanthropy. Though she has lived abroad for many years, she remains deeply connected to Taiwan. Recognized for her leadership in drug development, she is widely known in Taiwan as the “Queen of Pharmaceuticals.”
