Taiwan Pavilion Opens at Seatrade Cruise Global 2026, Showcasing Global Cruise Tourism Ambitions

On the afternoon of April 14, Director General Charles Chou attended the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Taiwan Pavilion at Seatrade Cruise Global 2026 in Miami. Delivering the opening remarks, Director General Chou joined Chairman Yung-hui, Chou of the Taiwan International Ports Corporation, Senate President Milton Potter of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Senator Hubert Frederick, Chair of the Committee on Economic Development. They were also joined by representatives from the Tourism Administration and Taiwan’s aviation and travel industries. Together, they signaled Taiwan’s firm commitment to expanding its presence in the global cruise tourism market.
At the invitation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Miami, several distinguished international guests also graced the ceremony, including Tourism Minister Owen Darrell of Bermuda, State Executive Councilor Suee Lim, Ng of Selangor (Malaysia), Mayor ABD Hamid of Klang, and Tourism Selangor CEO Yeeling, Chua.
