Director General Charles Chou recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Tony Hu, a retired officer of the U.S. Air Force, who visited accompanied by Mr. Paul Cordon, Chairman of the South Florida Chapter of the Formosan Association for Public Affairs (FAPA), and Dr. James Yang, former chairman, and his wife.
During the visit, Mr. Hu shared his extensive experience in the military, government, and industrial sectors, as well as his observations on the close cooperation between Taiwan and the United States in security and defense affairs.
Director General Chou also introduced a time capsule produced to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act, as well as congratulatory messages and certificates presented by state, county, and city governments within the jurisdiction, highlighting the achievements of Taiwan–Florida local exchanges.
