Central Florida Welcomes Taiwan’s Veterans Affairs Council

On August 22, Director General Charles Chou joined leaders from the Central Florida Taiwanese American community in welcoming Vice Minister Chen of Taiwan’s Veterans Affairs Council (VAC) to Central Florida.
During the visit, Vice Minister Chen took the time to connect with Taiwanese veterans living in Florida and shared updates on new programs and services designed to support veterans and their families. The VAC continues to focus on five key areas: education, employment, healthcare, long-term care, and comprehensive support—ensuring that veterans receive the care and assistance they deserve.
We are deeply grateful to the veterans who dedicated themselves to defending Taiwan. And we applaud the VAC for continuing to strengthen and expand its support for veterans and their families!
