Director General Mou attended flag-raising ceremony in Orlando

In celebration of the 101st New Year’s Day of the Foundation of the Republic of China, the Central Florida Chinese Business Association held a flad-raising ceremony on January 1st at the Chinese Cultural Center in Orlando, Florida. Nearly 300 people participated the event, including local politicians, Chinese community leaders and friends.
The ceremony was presided by Mr. Ray Mou, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Miami (TECO in Miami). Mr. Mou delivered a New Year speech, quoting President Ma’s message for the New Year: “Lighting Candles for the Next Generation.”
Community leaders and friends from Jacksonville, Gainsville, Melbourne, Tampa, Miami as well as the Orlando Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce members who made their trip to this event, has set a good example of “togetherness”.
