Director General Chi was delighted to attend the flag raising ceremony held by the expatriates in Central Florida to celebrate the Founding Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan). A large amount of participants attended this event in which they sang aloud the National anthem and observed the raising of the national flag with respect and pride.
There was a dragon and lion dance at the event, and a few students dressed up as the “Electric-Techno Neon Gods” (dian yin sam thai tsu) or “Techno Prince Nezha” to showcase a subcultural element of Taiwan.
