Professor June Teufel Dreyer from the University of Miami brought her students from an affiliated school's program to visit our office on 7/20.
During the presentation, Director General Chou introduced them to Taiwan-U.S. and Taiwan-Florida bilateral relations, as well as Taiwan's attractions and famous street food. We also had the honor of inviting Councilman Anthony Valenzuela from Miami Dade County Community 11 to share his recent trip experiences in Taiwan.
To enhance the visit's enjoyment, our office prepared a selection of authentic Taiwanese snacks and beverages, such as pineapple cakes and bubble tea. Moreover, we showcased a short video about Taiwan, providing the guests with insightful information about the country’s remarkable achievements and diverse offerings.
The event culminated in an engaging and interactive quiz that everyone enthusiastically participated in, showcasing their enthusiasm and interest in Taiwan's culture and attractions.
