Seattle Kaohsiung Sister City Association welcomes Kaohsiung Deputy Mayor Yang Ming-jou and his delegation to visit Seattle

Director General Vincent Yao of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle and President Shiao-yen Wu of the Seattle Kaohsiung Sister City Association (SKSCA) hosted a dinner in honor of the visiting Kaohsiung delegation led by Deputy Mayor Yang on June 10, 2018.
Among the VIPs who joined us are Washington State Senator Bob Hasegawa, State Representative Mia Gregerson, Seattle City Senior Deputy Mayor Michael Fong, Kenmore City Mayor David Baker and Mrs. Baker, Seattle City International Affairs Director Stacey Jehlik and, last but not the least, the long-term friend of Taiwan former Washington State Lt. Governor Brad Owen.
Senior Deputy Mayor Fong delivered a letter from Mayor Jenny Durkan to Kaohsiung Mayor. Both Deputy Mayors praises the two-decade plus sisterhood between Seattle and Kaohsiung and expressed desires of strengthening the bilateral relations through exchanges in all aspects. Deputy Mayor Yang also extended welcome to the SKSCA delegation to the upcoming Kaohsiung Dragon Boat Race Festival. The SKSCA delegation will be led by Senator Bob Hasegawa.
