Share
Taiwan bars foreign nationals from entering the country in accordance with measures announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).
Exemptions will be granted to Alien Resident Certificate holders, personnel on diplomatic or official business, persons who can prove they are fulfilling commercial and contractual obligations, and persons who have acquired permission for special entry. Persons meeting one or more of the above criteria should prepare relevant documents upon entering Taiwan, so that the National Immigration Agency can readily determine whether to grant entry; or, they can contact their nearest TECO to apply for special entry.
For individuals who must visit Taiwan for a reason other than the aforementioned, please contact the nearest TECO to apply for special entry.
The aforementioned exempted foreign nationals must reserve a 14-day home quarantine upon arrival.
The above entry restrictions are subject to change depending on the development of the COVID-19 outbreak. Changes will be announced by the CECC.
