Taiwan delegation won 24 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal in the 5th Silicon Valley International Invention Festival!

The 5th Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF), one of the year’s major global events celebrating innovation and invention, was held last weekend, August 14–16, in Santa Clara. Organized by the Taiwan Invention Association, the Taiwan delegation entered 35 inventions across two groups, winning an impressive 24 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal. Nearly every participating Taiwanese team received an award, and the delegation also set a new record for the highest number of gold medals won by Taiwan since first participating in 2018.
The Chairman of the Jury, Alireza Rastegar, especially praised Taiwan’s inventors for their ability to “turn the impossible into possible.” He highlighted the impressive practicality of their inventions and how effectively they integrate technology into everyday life.
The awards ceremony also featured International Special Awards presented by participating national invention associations. TECO in San Francisco Director-General David Wu represented Taiwan and presented awards to inventors from Croatia and the United States, highlighting the spirit of international exchange and recognition of innovation.
