As an Ambassador to the Holy See, I feel so proud to represent the Republic of China (Taiwan): the oldest democracy in Asia; a country where freedom of religion and respect of fundamental human rights are a well-consolidated reality; a country which is actively committed to fighting human trafficking, assisting those in need, including migrants and refugees, and defending the environment by developing and implementing affordable green technologies because, as Pope Francis said in his Laudato Sì encyclical, “It is our duty to look after our “Common Home.”
