In Taiwan, the dioceses, congregations and Catholic citizens actively participated in the Pope’s initiative by joining in his prayers of hope to end the pandemic and for peace in Taiwan. 
Echoing Pope Francis’ prayer initiative, the Embassy invited Fr. Michael Goh and Fr. Giuseppe Chiu to lead the recitation of the Rosary at the residence and office on May 1 and 31, 2021, respectively.
Amb. Matthew Lee strongly encouraged the gatherings in the spirit of fraternity and solidarity as a way to be united in prayer with brothers and sisters all over the globe.
