Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) treated the Daughters of the Sick (Camillians) to a traditional Lunar New Year meal inside their convent on February 13, 2021. Back in March 2020, Ambassador Lee came to the aid of the quarantine Sisters and, since then, a solid friendship has developed between them. Mother Lauretta Gianesin, Superior General, and the other sisters, welcomed the typical dishes and the red envelopes which symbolize good fortune and luck brought by Ambassador Lee. The cheerful gathering was a precious opportunity to share cultural customs and traditions while strengthening ties and exchanging hopes for a world more equal, tolerant, inclusive, fraternal and COVID-free for the New Year of the Ox.
