Under the principle of reciprocity and with aim to further strengthen the relationship between the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Taiwan, the Government of Republic of China (Taiwan) has taken the decision to provide visa-exemption to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines passport holders upon entry to Taiwan for duration of stay up to 30 days. It is required that the Vincentian nationals should obtain return or onward ticket(s) and with passport validity of more than six months upon arrival. This visa-exemption policy is effective from July 12, 2017.
As for the citizens of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines who plan to stay longer than 30 days or to reside in Taiwan, due to the immigration regulations, an entry visa is still required before traveling, while the visitor’s visa for over-30-day-stay remains free of charge. The requirements for residence visa and visitor’s visa vary from the purpose of visit or residence. Applicants for visa are advised to contact the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for further information before submitting the application.
