In order to attract foreign professionals to work in Taiwan, the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) enacted the Act for the Recruitment and Employment of Foreign Professional Talent in November 2017. As result of the new legislation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has launched the Employment-Seeking Visa Scheme since February 8, 2018, to facilitate foreigners’ job-seeking in Taiwan. Foreigners, including citizens of St Vincent and the Grenadines, who are interested in starting a career in Taiwan and meet the requirements, are welcome to apply for a six-month multiple-entry visa from ROC embassies or missions overseas.
