Deputy Counselor Trini Chen visited the Beauty Therapy training courses under the Women’s Empowerment Project

Deputy Counselor Trini Chen, on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), visited the training courses of “Operations Management of Beauty and Body Care” near the capital Kingstown on 5th August, 2022. She was happy to see the students enjoying the courses and had a chance to experience the massage skills from one of the students. She wished the students a fruitful outcome from the courses.
The training courses were held under the Project of “Assisting the Economic Recovery and Empowerment of Women in Latin America and the Caribbean in the Post-COVID-19 Era-Technical Assistance for Women's Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Financial Inclusion” (Women’s Empowerment Project). The training courses of “Operations Management of Beauty and Body Care” near Kingstown were open specifically for vulnerable women. The aim is to enhance their working skills, increase employment opportunity and help them to live on their own.
